According to the report released by the Agricultural Counsellor of the United States Department of Agriculture in Australia, Australia's grain output in 2022/23 will set a record for the third consecutive year, with strong exports.

In 2022/23, the wheat output will reach a record 37 million tons, while the barley output will reach 13.5 million tons, which is the fourth highest in history.

The growth conditions in Western Australia and South Australia are close to ideal, which is conducive to the high yield of wheat and barley. However, in September and October 2022, too much rainfall occurred in most grain planting areas in New South Wales and Victoria, which partially offset the growth of the previous two states.

Australia's wheat export will reach a record 28 million tons in 2022/23.

In terms of summer crops, the yield of sorghum is expected to reach 2.9 million tons in 2022/23, which will be the third highest point in history.
