According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average market price of domestic liquid CPL was 12,333 RMB/ton on November 8, and the average market price of domestic liquid CPL was 12,366 RMB/ton on November 14. The domestic CPL price rose 0.27% this week.
Analysis review
CPL market prices rose slightly this week. The price of raw material pure benzene fell first and then rose, and the cost support of CPL strengthened. This week, the CPL devices in some enterprises were overhauled, and the market supply of CPL was tight. The downstream PA enterprises started steadily, and their demand for CPL was stable, and they bought as needed. As of November 14, the price of CPL liquid of Shandong Hualu Hengsheng was 12,500 RMB/ton, which was delivered to East China, and the manufacturer's plant capacity was 300,000 tons/year.
Raw material pure benzene market, this week's pure benzene price trend was shocked. At the beginning of the week, the inventory of pure benzene in East China ports continued to rise to 90,300 tons, and there would still be imported cargoes arriving later. Crude oil fell, and the downstream market was poor. The fundamentals of pure benzene were weak, and the center of gravity was weak. In the second half of the week, pure benzene rose slightly due to the rise of crude oil and styrene and the improvement of downstream purchasing. The price of Sinopec pure benzene this week remained stable at 7,000 RMB/ton, down 200 RMB/ton from 7,200 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.
Market outlook
CPL analysts from SunSirs believe that the price of pure benzene, the raw material, stopped falling and rose recently, and the cost side was favorable. The supply of CPL in the market decreased, driving the enthusiasm of terminal procurement. It is expected that the market of CPL will run steadily and well in the short term.
